Go to the market and search and install these apps. My must haves….

Google Sky “fun fun fun”
Gensoid Light “you guess it Sega Genisis Emulator”
Snesoid Lite “That’s right Super Nintendo Emulator”
Magic-8-Ball “Hours of fun ok not really but cool either way”
Advanced Task Killer “does what it says”
Nimbuzz “all in one Instant messenger”
FartDroid “ You know you want it”
Dave Chappelle Cam “take pictures with Dave very entertaining”
MMA Schedule “ Duh”
Andexplorer “for extracting zip files that you download and much more”
Barcode Scanner “ does what it says”
All –in-1-Calc lite “ what you think it does”
CamPainter “Pic editor”
Oh Snap! “Pic Caption additions”
PicSay “Very good pic editor”
Tv.com “Nice list of TV shows old and new that you can watch right on your phone”
Weatherbug “just like your desktop & video feeds from locations”
Wardrive “drive around with this on and capture open wireless networks & upload to the net to share with others”
Panda Home “llows the theme of your android to be changed. It's the best one so far I have used and is able to use themes created by pretty much all the other theme programs like open home and Ahome”
Live Football “get live football scores and last plays & last scored with details of the play”
ShopSavvy "Scan Bar codes & use it to compare prices online while shopping in stores & so on"
Talk to me "voice to speech translator french german spanish and couple others seems to work pretty well"

I have more but these are the ones I use the most of. Some of them are a little wack but all are very cool.

BTW your Android phone syncs with your RNGD.net e-mail account natively as it does with all Google Hosted e-mail accounts. Just select Sync account add a new Google account and type your username@rngd.net & you pass and it will set it up for you the best part is you can keep backups of your contacts that you can export from mail.rngd.net at anytime & send to another phone or update them in excel and load them back up & guess what? Your phone will sync and the changes will take effect.

Addition:
Want to test out the Android operating system before you purchase an Android based phone?
Check out the live USB or CD version of Android. It allows you to burn it to disk or to usb drive so you can can load it directly from your PC. Experience the world of the Android without owning a phone with it on it.

Happy Androiding.......

Nice!  Yeah I really want that phone too but I'm not eligible to upgrade for awhile.  It's the first phone that wasn't a Blackberry that I wanted.  It's not without its issues I guess, but the potential for what the operating system is going to become is huge!

It has way more pluses so far compared to negatives. It's by far the best phone I have used. Eats Windows Mobile alive. Destroys any palm or blackberry I have touched & yes in my opinion the iPhone as well. I think for me the Verizon network is what makes it a better phone then the iPhone but who is to say.
